This page browses tissue sites of origin using the COSMIC primary-site vocabulary. The summary figures on the Database Statistics page count tissue lineages using the OncoTree ontology, which merges some sites that COSMIC lists separately (for example large and small intestine both fall under the OncoTree lineage Bowel). The two counts therefore differ while describing the same samples.
